Sunday, March 15th was the day for Lily's Baptism. It was held after the 09:30 Mass at Our Lady of Fatima in Caringbah. I have never been to this church, but it transpires the parish priest is remembered - he was at Earlwood many years ago! However, Mass and the Baptism was conducted by Mgr Bayada's assistant priest, Father Glen Walsh.
After Mass, we assembled in the church foyer (or narthex) before returning inside for the Baptism. Here, Lily is in the safe arms of Kelly's good friend Vanya, while Keiran looks on. And Lily seems to be wondering what it's all about.

Youngsters are quite restless while waiting - Cooper (green) and somebody are playing while Jake and Flynn are in the row behind.

Our group is at this end - another family at the far end of the seats. There were other families on the other side of the altar (to the left of this image).
Father Glen is about to sign Lily, with Cecelie, Glenn, Kelly, Vanya and Keiran looking on. Lily looks as though she is getting ready to emabrace Father Glen!

And Lily is not a happy camper! As is common with Baptisms.

Lily may never have seen a candle before this, especially given the intense look she has towards it.
The happy family afterwards.
