February 2nd was Flynn's day to start school, so naturally it needed to be recorded. Setting the alarm early to ensure that the big event would not be missed, I arrived just a few seconds after Yvonne. Peter was away, so couldn't make it.
A very relaxed looking Flynn on the lounge. Meanwhile, Michelle was running around on the last minute details for Jake, who like most school children, returned to school last week.
Flynn and Jake together at the back fence overlooking the Woronora River. Today was Jake's sports day so he is not dressed in the standard school uniform as is Flynn.
A hat is an official part of the school uniform. These days I expect it's for protection from the sun. All those years ago when I went to school, first a cap then a hat was required as part of the uniform, because that was the way it should be.

Note the difference in hat wearing styles - youngsters are certainly fashion aware these days!
Time to go to school, and Flynn was not hanging about - here on his way to Michelle's car. Yvonne asked him to stop to take a photo, but he wouldn't be in that - just get me to school! Earlier Flynn thought that he would be able to sit with Jake, but then the reality of school was explained to him.
Flynn seemed quite happy with this whole idea of school as he waited to leave home.

Bye!
