Christmas Day

I met my brother Peter for 8AM Mass, and then ventured home for the morning coffee. After a phone call to Bill & Judy in (very snowy) Seattle, it was over to Peter & Yvonne at Illawong, where we had a Christmas drink with long term friends Bev and Di (aka Thelma and Louise) before heading off to the Currey's for Christmas dinner. As always, we were fed handsomely and had a very enjoyable number of hours of fine food and conversation.

Christmas at Currey's: Natalie's dog \

This is "Poppy", Natalie's dog. With a Christmas present. Which became progressively more chewed upon as the day went on. And the chewing was exacerbated by having a tug of war with Poppy, using the toy as "the rope".

Another view of Poppy with that toy.

After lunch, Poppy needed some extra attention, which Natalie happily provided.

And somehow I managed to snap no other photos! Which I take to mean that there was plenty of conversation to go with the abundance of food on offer. My thanks to Peter and Cecelie for their excellent hospitality, yet again.
