Family Dinner

After the many and varied weekend escapes and school holidays, we were able to have a family dinner this week.

Family Dinner at Illawong: Lily Eve Wallace

And Lily was here too, being quite aware of her world.

And Kelly and Glenn have another happy baby!

Family Dinner at Illawong: Cooper eating cheese

While Cooper is enjoying some cheese, Lily seems to be looking enviously at him. She seems to be another good eater!

Family Dinner at Illawong: Serene Garfield

And Garfield the cat was still around. He's quite contented to hang around while Cooper and Lily are here, but as soon as Jake and Flynn arrive, he's under the bed for the duration. This shot shows him under the coffee table - some protection, but not like the bed.

Family Dinner at Illawong: Cooper acting out the story with Dandy

Cooper listening, and actively engaged with, a story being told by Dandy - the story about the tree falling down, and the trucks coming along to take it away.

Family Dinner at Illawong: Yvonne with Lily

Yvonne with Lily - a quiet time for Yvonne with her first granddaughter. Something to which we all have to adjust - "the boys" just doesn't cover them all now.

Family Dinner at Illawong: Natalie Currey with Lily

And Natalie was here too.

Family Dinner at Illawong: Cooper with the musical instrument and Lily in the background

Cooper figuring out how to turn on the "music machine" - it has a few keys, and pressing one of them makes it play a few notes.

Cooper is a happy chappy indeed.

Family Dinner at Illawong: Jake and Kelly

Then the Crofts arrived - Jake and Flynn here with Kelly.

Jake has lost the little boy look which Flynn still shows. How quickly they grow.

Family Dinner at Illawong: Jake Crofts learning to tie his shoe laces

And Jake is learning to tie his shoelaces - one of those skills that we learn at a young age and use the rest of our lives.

Family Dinner at Illawong: Mother and daughter: Kelly and Lily
