On Thursday, February 15th 2007, Cooper turned one year old. So, party time - after all, we need to have him tuned into birthday celebrations. Hard to imagine that this day last year we went to Cooper in hospital.
First, some old business. This was Kelly & Glenn's birthday present for Flynn - somewhat delayed from the real event.
Flynn now has a "bowling" set - looks more like 8 pin than 10 pin, although it's a bit hard to tell from here.
But there's more! There's also a back pack - Lightning McQueen, of course!
Cooper seems to be getting into the swing of this present business. At least in terms of ripping the wrapping paper off!
Jake and Tynan are helping Cooper unwrap his presents. Well, when you're just one, a little help is useful. And for older boys, unwrapping other people's presents is almost as good as unwrapping one's own.
A somewhat pensive Cooper in Peter's arms. Perhaps he was just overwhelmed with all the activity.
Ah, now Cooper gets the hang of it - just tear at this box and see what happens. He's probably strong enough to tear the box too.
But alas, Cooper couldn't undo the packaging - well, not too surprising, as it defies many adults too! And Cooper seems intrigued by Flynn - not too surprising, as Flynn is the closest in size to Cooper.
