Ah, all the under 10s get the sparkle hats! A new family birthday tradition.
Ah, the birthday cake has arrived. Three candles AND three sparklers. I never had that when I was young :(
Well Flynn seems to be enjoying this "event".

Time to light the candles, and sing "Happy Birthday", including the famous "pointing" to the victim, ah, birthday boy. I wonder if Flynn is thinking "More Fire" (a family joke).
Time to blow the candles out - the climax of any birthday celebration.
From here the party wound down over about the next hour, as Dasher and her charges returned home, and the Harris clan packed up too. I left a little before the others as I wanted to see if Comet McNaught was visible. Which it turned out was true.
