A party for Yvonne's birthday was finally held on May 2nd - delayed for various reasons. So the family gathered...
Although it was Yvonne's birthday, the star of the show turned out to be (surprise!) baby Cooper, who seems to be growing enormously from week to week! Here he's in Michelle's arms.

Flynn learned a new trick. Well, learned may not be the correct word, but he was imitating a shark, as shown in this photo!

Michelle brings the cake in to the birthday girl. It has 7 candles, which I suspect is the number in the drawer rather than any age specific indication.
The birthday girl also holds Cooper for the duration. Perhaps this is a new family rule! Cooper appears to be interested in something else entirely. That will change in a year or two!
The song has ended, so it's time to blow the candles out - birthday person gets first go. I'm not quite sure what Jake is staring at, though. And Cooper still hasn't "got it".
Ah, the candles are out, and the boys are all giving it a good look over just to make sure there's no lingering fire.
Except, of course, that the whole operation is repeated several times - at least once for each child present. Here Flynn is "blowing out" the candles. But it's a little suspicious that the ones closest to Yvonne have already gone out! Not that I'm accusing anybody of tampering...
Now Jake's turn to blow them out. Tynan was too fast to capture - he had them out before I could push the camera button.
