A Como Day

On September 18th I arranged to meet John Hatch, a building designer, on (the soon to be) my lot at Como. So, apart from taking some photos of the land, it seemed a good time to take some of Como as well!

A view of my land, from the NW corner, that is, on the right hand side, this end, as viewed in the top two photos above. The recent rain has done wonders for the grass!

Como Marina Area

After meeting and discussing details with John Hatch, I was thirsty and it was time to go to the marina for a coffee and some more photos.

Como Marina

After coffee, it was photo time, and this involved walking up to the old railway bridge. This view shows the walkway (which leads to Oatley), and the marina area.

Interesting delivery vehicle at Como Marina

A bit hard to miss this vehicle! I'm not sure why, since I couldn't see a name, but I suspect this is a Citroen vehicle. Certainly a 'cute' vehicle, and probably very economical to operate.

Como Marina as viewed from old Como railway bridge

It's hard to take a good photo from the bridge, as it has a chain link fence, and taking a photo means a "blind" shoot holding the camera over the top of the wire. This shows the Marina, Como Pleasure Grounds and Carina Bay and looking to the land of "Oyster Bay" in the distance.
