On Sunday, August 27th, there was a meeting of the clans to celebrate a triple birthday. Within 10 days, Louise, Kelly and I had birthdays. The big event took place at the Cecelie and Peter Currey's home, so an excellent day was assured.
Louise with baby Cooper. Louise is obviously happy, but Cooper is "thinking about it".
Ah, Cooper's happier now - something to eat!
But in the important food department, Peter is cooking the entrees.
Ah, speaking of food, Cooper wanted his too, so mum was more than happy to oblige. Little Cooper is not wasting away, and has always been a good eater.
Nana looks on as Cooper sucks it in.
"What ARE you doing?"
Three generations
Michelle, Louise and Cameron. And what pigs we've been with the table!
"Well, get it over with!"
Cooper in Nana's arms.
A happy chappy, indeed. Cooper in Nana's arms while Dandy amuses him.
Ah, a lesson in raspberry blowing for little Cooper. I guess you're never too young to learn, although babies don't seem to need instruction for this skill.
That staring look that only babies have. Given how much he is developing at this stage, I am curious about what's going on inside.
Jake and Tynan having a snack on the steps in the Currey's landscaped yard.
A happy Flynn enjoying a can of drink - his first, I think.
Ah, Cecelie is starting to deliver dinner. From left, clockwise around the table: Peter, Yvonne, Louise, Michelle, Cecelie and Cameron.
Now the photo taking came to a halt, as it was chow time. And, as is expected from Cecelie and Peter, the meal was excellent, and in great abundance. A good time was certainly had by all. And nobody left hungry.
Charlie, watching over the stairs.
And giving the photographer the once over!
And so, after many enjoyable hours, it was time to waddle off to our cars and head on home. Definitely not for dinner! Thanks to Peter, Cecelie and Louise for hosting sucn an enjoyable day and birthday celebration.
