After The Operation

On Tuesday, June 27th, Flynn Crofts was operated on to remove a cyst growing under his left cheek. A fairly minor operation, but all operations have a certain amount of risk. Flynn survived just fine, and any remaining scares will disappear quickly.

So, on June 28th, I went to visit Flynn and Jake (and Michelle too!) to see how the patient was feeling. Especially after I heard about his banging his head this morning.

When I arrived, Jake and Flynn were riding their bikes in the driveway. And, of course, it's always important to show just how fast they can ride! Or, in this instance, their friendship.

Flynn still looks a little shell shocked here!

Ah, but so much for this affection stuff - let's get riding again.

Ah, Flynn's really determined to catch up to big brother Jake!

After much riding, we adjourned for tea and brownies. But not just any brownies - the boys (with Michelle) made these this very morning.

Dummy out, brownie in - no mistaking the sequence here!

After playing with the boys for a while, I headed on home, glad to see that Flynn is in good spirits, and apart from wanting to remove the bandage (well, be honest, who doesn't want to remove the bandage!) not suffering from the trip to the hospital.

And I reckon that's pretty good!
