Kelly, Michelle and I had planned to meet at Kelly's apartment in Cronulla and then go for a walk to find lunch. However, Glenn was asleep after working night shift, and it was raining heavily in Cronulla, so this seemed like a poor plan. Hence Plan B - meet at Michelle's home in Woronora. Which is even closer, so more convenient for me. Meeting time was 11:30, but Kelly was delayed after she found a wallet and turned it into the Police. Turns out it was one of her upstairs neighbour's wallet, which was realised after a little telephone tag.
First Jake wanted to show Kelly how he could ride his bike without the training wheels, but that didn't last very long as it started to rain - first a few drops, then slowly increasing to good steady rain for the remainder of the visit. By then Cooper, all of 4 months old, was settled into the lounge, although he kept slipping down, partly of his own doing. Even at 4 months he is quite big and showing strength in his arms.
Then Flynn wanted to be in the picture, so...
Obviously we needed a photo with all the boys, so Jake and Flynn joined their cousin Cooper on the lounge.
Mum and baby, although Cooper seems somewhat distracted!
Then Michelle bought out this old gadget, which allows a baby to "stand up". It has a hemi-spherical bottom, so it wobbles, and the part supporting the baby rotates too. However, the conclusion was that Cooper is probably a little young for it yet. But it will keep!
"Oh, what are you doing?" thinks Cooper, as he stares at something. What a confusing and strange place the world must be to a four month old baby.
But after all that excitement, Cooper was ready for a snooze. And what a sleeper he is - already sleeping through the night! Here he is on Michelle and Cameron's bed, with "his friend" Teddy.
And Cooper likes to sleep with his hands "up in the air".
But alas, Cooper didn't sleep very long, but that was quite good, as it was going home time anyway. It was a very pleasant couple of hours with "the boys". Jake and Flynn were certainly starting to show signs of being cooped up, as they were unable to go outside to run off the energy due to the rain. Cooper's a bit young to show that yet :-)
