On May 30th there was a joint birthday party for Glenn and good family friend Mel. So there was a family gathering at Illawong to celebrate the event.
And, of course, the birthday is not complete without a cake. Since the birthday "boys" were past teenage years, the number of candles on the cake was symbolic more than accurate. And that was complicated by having two "birthdayees"! In this view, Tynan has just blown the candles out.
And then it was Jake's turn to blow.
And then Flynn's turn - raised into position on Mel's lap! I have a vague suspicion that Michelle might have been assisting here too.
And Cooper was here too, but a bit young to be blowing out the candles! But certainly old enough to stare over Kelly's shoulder.
And a little later, Cooper is asleep in Grandma's arms. He's certainly ready for bed - and probably slept all night, as he is a great sleeper.
Is Cooper dreaming already? Or perhaps just the call of nature.
