On Febraury 21st, I visited Kelly, Glenn and Cooper - now all of six days old. Glenn decided to stay home and do the chores, while Kelly and I took Cooper to the beach. Well, not actually on the beach, but very close. And we had an enjoyable walk too!
Glenn getting Cooper ready for the big event.
"Ah, it feels good to stretch my legs without all those tight clothes. I'm ready for the beach!"
Kelly holds Cooper while Glenn goes downstairs to ready the stroller for the long journey ahead.
Ah, Lenny (the cat) comes to seek some assurance and comfort.
Cooper all wrapped up and ready to go, thinking (?) "What are YOU doing?".
Ah, made it to Cronulla Park! Kelly with Cooper, who appears to be pretty much ignoring the beach. I guess that will change - in a few years!
Back in the pram, little Cooper is back asleep. All this sun and fresh sea air makes a person sleepy!
Kelly at the beach - Cronulla Beach, to be precise. We had a very enjoyable cup of coffee, watching the world go by, and not hearing a noise from Cooper.
Cooper is almost on the beach. Almost. Well, when you're 6 days old, the beach is probably not too interesting.
Glenn with Cooper, still sleeping soundly.
Time to sit down. Glenn gave Cooper a "mohawk", which is somewhat visible in this photo. It's a little too short to show up well. But Cooper seems to be half awake, perahps asking "Dad, what did you do?"
