On Tuesday, October 25th, the quiet of Illawong was broken by the arrival of Michelle, Jake and Flynn. It was a very welcome interruption!
It didn't take long before we were out on the verandah, and so Jake started riding one of the bikes. Although riding is perhaps not the most appropriate description for this style, which belonds more to a scooter.
And so Flynn had to do likewise. But in the conventional riding style.
Both boys pause from riding, although Flynn has a curious look on his face!
Guess who's learned a new trick?
Brothers.
Flynn seems to want to see the view from higher up. This chair was just past the limits of his climbing ability, so Peter ended up helping the last little bit.
Hmmm, was it worth all that effort?
Ooooh, I see something different, so climbing up was a good idea.
Being on the chair was interesting, but sitting on Nana's lap next to Dandy was far more comfortable.
And shifting to Dandy's lap, conveniently next seat along, lets me read this book! Of course, the book is about transport that goes fast - just what every little boy wants!
