My first Christmas as a resident of Australia for many years was fast approaching. With the little ones, it's easier to go to Christmas Eve Mass, and this we did at Holy Family, Menai. We then adjourned to Cameron and Michelle's home for a family meal.
A beautiful eucalyptus tree in the street in front of Cameron and Michelle's home - very much an Australian scene.
The back yard. Note the refurbished garage, and Cameron's tomato plants in the garden in front of the cars.
The more solid garage, although it is used for storage of things other than cars. Well, full size cars, anyway. Jake's electric jeep is in there.
Jake and Flynn playing in the front yard on the Woronora River.
Jake riding his trike. Note the tables in position for tomorrow's family gathering.
Peter walking the past the kitchen window, while the next generation is having a discussion in the kitchen.
A family group - well, of the more mature members. Left to right: Michelle, Yvonne, Peter, Kelly (2 months before Cooper was born) and Cameron. And a very calm Woronora River in the background.
Jake with an early Christmas present - a large, beautiful kite. Flynn just popped into the image as I was snapping it!
