December 4th was a pleasant summer Sunday, so I headed out to Port Botany. There was a good reason to go there - it seemed that "my ship" (the one with my belongings from Seattle) should be in port and unloading. Alas, it's not easy to get anywhere near close enough to the ships to be able to read names, or take useful photographs. So I couldn't photograph "my container" being unloaded.
Being a Sunday, there were quite a few boats on Botany Bay, which no doubt provided a nice view for passengers on the left side of this plane coming in to land at Sydney Airport.
Ah, but some people just enjoying being alone, trying to catch a fish. This was just off the breakwater which protects Port Botany from the incoming swells.
