On Monday, January 13th, Peter and I had lunch with David Peterson down near Darling Harbour. And a very enjoyable lunch it was too. I haven't been to Darling Harbour for many years, so it was also a chance to see a few things I have not seen before!
Ah, the Maritime Museum and a couple of naval vessels, the sumbarine HMAS Onslow, and the destroyer HMAS Vampire. The museum's web page has more details of these two vessels, and the others on exhibit.
More of the Maritime Museum's floating exhibits, with the ugly Sydney Casino in the background (it's even worse at night!).
Looking towards Darling Harbour, somewhat obscured by the old Pyrmont Bridge and its monorail track.
Sydney cityscape.
