On Sunday we travelled to Norman and Jan Kuhnert's delightful town home for lunch. This overlooks the George's River near Sylvania (upstream of Tom Ugly's Bridge).
A panoramic view from their balcony. This is an amalgam of three photos, not very well joined. However, it does give the overall view. This is looking north, more or less.
Looking towards downtown Sydney, with Sydney Tower and the high rise buildings of the CBD showing about mid image.
A summer Sunday afternoon, so the pleasure boaters were out.
Looking west, past the motel swimming pool, showing several very different architectural styles. The motel is about to be knocked down and turned into town homes, although this view will not change much, as the building line cannot change the shape of the hill much at all.
The patio, overlooking the river. That's Peter and Norman at the barbecue, and Norman's grand-daughter Madeline at the table.
