A Day In Suquamish

On August 25th, Marie and I travelled to Suquamish to spend the day with Bill & Pat Gillingham and assorted family members from both sides. The day was overcast, and one of those days where the sun just never made it out. But that's summer in the great Pacific NorthWet!

Beach Walk

To build our appetites for a day of feasting, a beach walk was on the agenda. The Gillingham residence is located on Agate Passage, the waterway separating Bainbridge Island from the Kitsap Peninsula. We were on the Peninsula (west) side.

Setting out. From left, Thomas and Pilar, Marie and Pat, then Nicholas, Michael and Maria. This view is looking north, more or less.

A passing yacht on Agate Passage - obviously under power, as there was no wind at the time.

More beachcoming: Pilar, Thomas, Nick, Marie; back row Mary Kay, X, Patty and Y

The crew. New additions are Mary Pat and her two older children.
