SeaFair Aircraft

The first weekend of August, statistically the driest time of the year, is SeaFair weekend, marked by visiting naval vessels, the Blue Angels Navy airobatic team, and of course the big event, the hydroplane races on Lake Washington.

While in Seattle, the Blue Angels home base is at the Museum of Flight at Boeing Field.

Air Force F-16C

Not to be left out, the USAF was here too! They had a pair of F-16C's. They were not an acrobatic team, but were flying around the area at a fair rate of knots (and decibels!), almost like a warm up act for the Blue Angels!

And coming back to make way for Blue Angels

Then turning away to leave room for the Blue Angels? Or to give the crowd a closer look?
