These tank photos are somewhat blurred, as the tank is not very bright (it was, after all, night) and so a long exposure is required. And as these fish were swimming quickly, mostly they appear as a blur.
This area connects the viewing areas for the two large tanks together. There is a great deal of plumbing in an aquarium, especially one like this which uses water from Monterey Bay to refresh the tanks. The table in the lower left was the reception facilities - drinks and dessert!
