Mt. Baker

Even after lunch and the trip to Boulder Creek, Mt. Baker was still covered in cloud. It's visible at the far end of Boulder Creek, but the snow on its flanks and the clouds merge together.

Baker Lake Dam Picnic Area

Baker Lake is a hydroelectric dam, owned and operated by Puget Sound Energy. Like many such projects, it has facilities for visitors, including the picnic and boat launch area used for these photographs.
