We decided to come home via Blewett/Swauk Pass then Snoqualmie Pass. Blewett Pass is actually just a little higher than Stevens Pass, and I had no idea what the road conditions would be like. However, as we started up the road towards the pass, there were big trucks coming towards us, so I figured the road conditions were OK.
After Blewett Pass the road descends towards Ellensburg or Cle Elum, depending upon whether the direction of travel is east (Ellensberg) or west. We were heading west, towards Snoqualmie Pass and home.
Looking roughly north east.
More or less west. It's not so obvious, but there's a range of mountains about the middle of the picture, somewhat obscured by the clouds.
Looking south east, with a large (and it was a double) truck moving along. And snow is very bright when the sun shines.
It's not so obvious, but there's a farm to the left of the road, past the first ridge.
