Last Sunset of 2001
New Year's Eve
I like photographs of the evening turning to night - it's a quite
attractive time of the day, especially if there is some interest
in the sky. Not a common event here in mid-winter, but New Year's
Eve was relatively clear, so off to St. John Vianney Church in
Kirkland to photograph both the Christmas decorations and sunset.
Rain Drops
There had been rain during the day, and the raindrops are just visible
on this tree, with the light coming from behind.
Sunset
Just
visible on the bottom of the clouds there is a light spot - it's
a plane on its way to land!
Note the plane between the tree and spire, only really visible
on the larger image.
