The annual Thanksgiving holiday was early this year - in fact, the earliest it could be. Despite what at least one computer program thought, Thanksgiving is held on the fourth Thursday of November, and thus the earliest possible date would be November 22 nd which happened this year. As has become the tradition, I join the Bennetts at the Darnells, who live just a few doors away.
As usual, Sandy creates a wonderful atmosphere. Here are the choices to keep us full until dinner is ready, planned for 6PM.
The participants. The photo was a long, hand held exposure, which explains the less than sharp image (photographer lacks steady hand!) and some of the blurred people - they were moving!.
Left to right, there's Randy (back to camera), then Bill (side on at the table), then "above" Bill is Sandy, and then her mum, Louise. Then Captain Brad (runs an Alaskan tourist boat out of Anchorage, using an Australian catamaran!) with back to camera, then Judy, then Doris and finally Matthew.
