Sadness

Student Commencement Speaker, Laurel Elizabeth Gordon

A sad moment of reflection when the Principal, Vicki Puckett presented a special diploma to the parents of a student who passed away from cancer before graduation. It's always sad to hear of someone so young loosing their life before it has really begun.

Simon's Big Moment

These photos are blurred as there was not all that much light, and so the exposures were very slow, and sensitive to movement, of either the camera or the subject.

Simon is on the left; his name was announced and he is about to receive his diploma from the gentelman in the middle.

It's over, at last. Tossing of hats, and time to let go!
