I was sitting in the back room at Mum's and noticed a kookaburra land in the tree just past the back fence. While kookaburras are heard quite a bit at Bardwell Park, I have never seen one land in this tree before. And it sat there for half an hour, staring in the window. It really did make me wonder if mum was having a final look to see what we were doing.
