Christmas Day

I spent Christmas Day initially with Neil & Judy Bennett. But the meal was shared with several other neighbours, generously hosted by Rick and Patty Franklin. Herewith, the day in pictures.

Early afternoon, and Judy is preparing the snow peas and carrots for the feast.

The Franklins

The dining area

The table(s) where the feast is to take place. And the floor is heated too, which makes it really comfortable at this time of the year.

Rick Franklin, chef du jour

Chef Rick starting to attack the turkey. Hmmm, yummy.

While the chef is busy cooking, the guests are enjoying the living room, with an empty table awaiting food deliveries.

Let theeating begin

Nobody went away hungry. Thanks to Rick and Patty Franklin for being such excellent hosts, and to Sam for letting me play with his toys, and Jim and Barbara; and to the other guests and purveyors of assorted parts of the feast: Randy Coggeshall and Heidi Anderson and their daughters Caitlin and Megan; Sandy, Christy and David Darnell; Neil, Judy, Simon and Matthew Bennett.
