Our hosts of the last few nights put us on the train to downtown Toronto, where we had a room in the Royal York Hotel, one of Canadian Pacific Railroad's chain of hotels stretching west to Vancouver Island, and at least to Quebec City in the east.
Buildings with reflective glass walls were still many years away
from Sydney, so this bank building was quite a novelty.
Another novelty is seeing a squirrel. This one was looking for nuts
outside the Catholic cathedral.
