Christmas In The City

At this time, the CBD's Christmas display was rather basic, consisting mainly of the city's Chrstmas tree in Martin Place/Plaza.

Taken from much the same location as above, but looking north along Pitt Street, with the inevitable construction sight on the left, and the Harbour Bridge appearing in the distance.

A more general view of Martin Place between and Pitt and George Streets. At that time, the General Post Office was the building on the left. The Cenotaph (memorial for Australians lost in war) is about mid picture, with the tree in the background.
