These are photos from my Early Period. Which is fancy talk for "I just bought a camera and finding out what it can do." So pre-telephoto/zoom lens day! Some of these would likely have been much more interesting with one.
The view out the back window at home. Our Lady of Lourdes church is the big structure on the top of the hill.
Looking south west from Earlwood, towards Bexley North. Slade Road is the one just visible on the far left of the photo.
The view from Earlwood, looking about south over Bardwell Park. Mum and Dad's home is about mid image.
An experimental photo - a picture taken from the then new colour TV set. This was likely an Ashes Test Match - it's definitely in the UK, and in those days, nothing but a test match could have justified the cost of live broadcast.
Dad's (aka Dandy Mk I) fish pond. A source of much enjoyment to us all.
