Bardwell Park Views

These are photos from my Early Period. Which is fancy talk for "I just bought a camera and finding out what it can do." So pre-telephoto/zoom lens day! Some of these would likely have been much more interesting with one.

View across rooftops to tree covered hill with buildings at top

The view out the back window at home. Our Lady of Lourdes church is the big structure on the top of the hill.

View from hill over tree covered valley to houses in distance

Looking south west from Earlwood, towards Bexley North. Slade Road is the one just visible on the far left of the photo.

View from hill into valley with houses and along ridge behind

The view from Earlwood, looking about south over Bardwell Park. Mum and Dad's home is about mid image.

Picture of TV displaying English cricket match

An experimental photo - a picture taken from the then new colour TV set. This was likely an Ashes Test Match - it's definitely in the UK, and in those days, nothing but a test match could have justified the cost of live broadcast.

Couple of gold fish in pool surrounded by plants

Dad's (aka Dandy Mk I) fish pond. A source of much enjoyment to us all.
